I couldn't recommend anyone better! He made me feel so confident and comfortable. I passed my test… with no minors, which just shows how amazing Geoff is!

With no clutch and no gears, more of your attention goes where it matters: observations, junctions and roundabouts. Rene is quiet and smooth to drive, which helps a lot if you're nervous at the start.
Every electric car is automatic, so learning in one gets you used to the way many new cars drive.
Rene has dual controls for everyone's safety, so you can relax from your very first lesson. When you're ready, you can take your test in Rene, and if you'd like me to, I'll sit in the back.

Automatic is now the most popular choice among the people who contact me. It often suits:
If you pass your test in an automatic, your licence covers automatic cars only. To drive a manual later, you'd need to pass a manual test. If you think you might need to drive a manual one day, tell me before you start and we'll work out what's best for you.
I teach in two cars of my own: Rene, the automatic, and Penny, my VW Polo manual. If you can't decide, we can try both, and you can switch at any point without starting again with someone new.
Automatic lessons are from about £63 an hour, pay as you go. Your price is locked once you start, with no booking fees, no app fees and no extras.

I… passed first time with no minors - all the lessons accommodated exactly what I wanted to learn… helpful in understanding not only how to pass the driving test but also on how to be an overall better driver after test

For most people, yes, at the start. With no clutch or gears, you can give more attention to the road. You still learn the same skills, and the driving test is the same.
No. An automatic test gives you a licence for automatic cars only. To drive a manual, you'd need to pass a manual test as well.
Yes, at any point, and you keep the same instructor. If you're not sure which to choose, we can try both.
No. I'll show you everything you need, including how quiet Rene is when you set off, so you always check your surroundings carefully.

Tell me a little about the learner and when you'd like to start, and I'll get back to you.
