As I am a boarding student in Somerset only driving with Geoff in holiday, I have pick up driving very well and after my lessons I always felt more confident and this help me to stay relaxed and stress free in my test I would recommend Geoff to anyone who wants to be safe but also confident in the car.

Geoff is a fantastic teacher, who remains patient and professional at all times during the lessons. He establishes a mix between light hearted jokes, easing nerves while also carrying a serious nature to mimic test-like conditions reducing all uncertainties when test day comes around. Furthermore, Geoff appreciates and facilitates learning with busy schedules, offering short notice cancellations where possible to customers. He also has an extremely advanced knowledge of Sevenoaks roads and test routes helping learners identify and evade pitfalls they will face on their test. My brother is commencing his driving learning next year and I couldn’t recommend Geoff more to prospective learners.

Geoff is an absolutely amazing instructor. I've been driving for 40 years and have 40 years of bad habits and learnt driving on the other side of the road. Geoff is very patient, kind and really knows the rules. He is the best instructor and give you the skills and the confidence to take your test. He is teaching my daughter. Can officially say I passed with the BEST driving instructor in Sevenoaks!! Geoff taught me in a structured and logical way, maintaining a calm and collected manner even if things went a little bit wrong. We drove all of the test routes to help get me prepared for my test, and by the time it rolled around I felt confident in my abilities thanks to Geoff’s teaching.
For a fun and safe experience I couldn’t recommend Sevenoaks Driving Lessons enough.

I can’t recommend Geoff enough.
My daughter was nervous about learning to drive and our choice of instructor was an important decision. I couldn’t be happier that we were pointed in Geoff’s direction.
He is personable, friendly, calming and communicated so effectively with my daughter, quickly building her confidence.
He also appreciated my anxiety about supervising my daughter on the road and helped us overcome that hurdle.
I felt that my daughter was in such safe hands, demonstrated by her first time pass with only one minor fault.

The BEST driving instructor in the country. Geoff really wants you. to pass first time, he was kind and understanding, but also shows you how to do manoeuvres properly and not just to the textbook. His VW car is also a very lovely car to learn on. Thanks Geoff :)
UPDATE
It’s been 1 year now, and once again, I’d 100% say that the tuition that I received from Geoff is genuinely better than anyone else. Geoff has taught me so many skills and manoeuvres the right way, and when I take my car out, I have pride that I know exactly what I’m doing and surprising people with my amazing parallel parking (his method is so good). Once again, thank you Geoff!

I started learning to drive with Geoff in June 2025 with no prior experience, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. He’s incredibly patient, calm, and always makes you feel at ease, which made such a difference to me when I was nervous at the start. Geoff is really positive and explains everything clearly, and even when I made mistakes he was always supportive and helped me learn from them without ever making me feel stressed. I did fail my first test, but thanks to his encouragement and guidance, I passed the second time. I’m so grateful for all his help and would 100% recommend him to anyone learning to drive!

I approached Geoff for support with my daughters driving after she had failed her first test. It quickly became apparent that the previous instructor had not explained what she was doing wrong - but Geoff explained clearly and supported improvements which have resulted in a pass! I would highly recommend if you want an instructor with a wide range of hours available who tailors lessons to the pupils needs

I’ve been watching Geoff’s driving test route videos and have found them extremely helpful so far. I’m about a month away from my test and already quite familiar with the Sevenoaks roads, which makes these videos particularly useful.
As I watch each video, I make notes of anything I feel I need to practice the next time I’m out driving, which is helping me to focus my practice much more effectively. I do feel quite anxious about my upcoming test, but these videos are genuinely helping me feel more prepared and confident.
The commentary throughout is excellent and really reinforces what you need to be thinking about to drive safely and correctly. If you’re taking your driving test in Sevenoaks, I would highly recommend these videos. Thanks to Geoff for taking the time to put them together. I'm very grateful!

Was quite nervous at first when learning but Geoff was very kind and calm during every lesson. I started my driving learning with Geoff in April 2025, with absolutely no experience at all. My initial search was for automatic lessons, but decided to give it a go after a chat with Geoff. Straight from the first lesson, I felt extremely comfortable with the manual gear box, as Geoff explained it so well and in a simple manner. Geoff's focus was first on building my confidence on the road, develop good observations and control of the situation, and a good reaction, not just the controls of the car. In a short amount of time Geoff was absolutely sure in me as a driver and I received a green light in getting on with the tests. Throughout entire learning, I was receiving all support and answers on any questions I had, clear instructions and guidance, having a possibility to try myself in challenging situations on the road, updates on the local roads and how the test routes were affected. Any time I felt like I need more practice in a specific area, Geoff was preparing the appropriate routes, so I could improve it. Was recommended Sevenoaks Driving School’s videos by another instructor and they are perfect for anyone whose test is imminent and you are taking your child out for additional practice. Geoff uses dashcam footage and talks you through the minors and majors in test conditions in real time, so you can talk them through potential errors when you take them out and about around Sevenoaks. Even though he is not actually teaching my son to drive, he has been very helpful and extremely responsive when answering further questions. No connection, just a very happy customer. I first came across Geoff when I saw him teaching a lesson outside our house, and even from that brief moment, it was clear he was next level. From the start, his communication was fantastic. He even created a personal welcome video for my son, clearly explaining the whole process and putting him at ease straight away.
My son genuinely enjoyed every lesson, and his confidence grew week by week. Geoff went above and beyond the basics, teaching him practical life skills too, from checking oil levels to navigating a petrol station. The mix of shorter local lessons and longer drives gave him a great variety of experience.
One of the highlights was Geoff recording the driving test, so we could watch it back together afterwards such a thoughtful touch! We’ve already booked him for our daughter when she turns 17.

Perfect resource for test prep at Sevenoaks:

I couldn’t recommend Geoff enough! I had struggled in previous attempts to pass my driving test with someone else due to nerves so gave up for a while.
