Sevenoaks Driving Lessons – Cookie Policy
Last updated: 29 September 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on sevenoaksdrivinglessons.co.uk (the "website"), what they do, and how you can control them. Please read it alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. About us and cookies
1.1 The website is operated by Geoff Newman, a sole trader trading as Sevenoaks Driving Lessons ("we", "us", "our"), 46 High Street, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN13 1JG.
1.2 Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as tracking pixels and information saved in your browser's local storage, work in a similar way. In this policy, we call all of these "cookies".
1.3 Some cookies are set by us (first-party cookies). Others are set by other companies whose services we use, such as Google and Meta (third-party cookies).
2. How we ask for your consent
2.1 When you first visit the website, a banner asks whether you accept optional cookies. Optional cookies are not used unless you choose to accept them.
2.2 You can accept all optional cookies, reject them all, or choose by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and refusing optional cookies will not stop you from using the website or sending us an enquiry.
2.3 You can change your choice at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" at the bottom of any page.
2.4 We keep a record of your choice for 12 months. After that, we will ask you again.
2.5 If you do not accept embedded video cookies, YouTube videos on the website will not play on the page. You will see a link to watch them on YouTube instead.

4. Google and Meta
4.1 When you accept analytics, advertising or embedded video cookies, information about your visit, such as the pages you view, your device and your IP address, is sent to Google or Meta. They may combine it with other information they hold, including information linked to your Google, Facebook or Instagram account, and use it for their own purposes, such as improving and personalising adverts.
4.2 You can find out more in Google's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) and Meta's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab). You can also manage the adverts you see through your Google and Meta account settings.
4.3 Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle any personal information collected through these cookies and your rights.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
5.1 As well as using "Cookie Settings" on the website, you can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Your browser's help pages explain how. You can find general guidance at aboutcookies.org (opens in a new tab).
5.2 Deleting cookies will also delete your saved cookie choices, so you will see our banner again on your next visit.
6. Changes to this policy
6.1 We will update this policy when the cookies we use or the law changes, and the "last updated" date at the top will change. If we start using a new type of optional cookie, we will ask for your consent again before using it.
